Weekly Run-Down #4

I forgot last week. Maybe because I was sleep deprived. As far as getting up at 6 a.m. every morning, I'm totally doing it. But the whole reason I was doing it was to have more time and be more productive. That's not happening.

I am a night person--I know this to be true and have known it to be true for years. (I love learning styles!) I do my best thinking at night and the later, the better. So, is the 6 a.m. wake up thing helping? Heck if I know. I'll continue it because the morning's not rushed, but I'm not getting anything more accomplished. I'm open to suggestions for upping my productivity.

The walking. Well. It's been cold. Cold as sin, y'all. D1 and I have gotten in about ten miles this month. I know that's working because I've lost six pounds so far this month. But it's not nearly enough. We wanted to do a 5K this spring, but at this rate, it's not happening. We could drive to the gym or the mall and walk, but we usually don't have that kind of time to get in the car and go somewhere just to walk around. Excuses, excuses, I know. But, we are moving more than we were and that's what's important--at least that's what I'm telling myself.

So, it's the last week of January, and February starts in just one week. I need to think about what I'm going to do in February. I've been daily journaling my food on My Fitness Pal (look me up: Minivan Momma 2); I'll continue that. We'll continue walking--maybe we'll try to get in 20 miles again. Maybe we'll up it. Who knows? And I'll continue to wake up at 6 a.m., but I'll be doing away the expectation that I'm going to be any kind of productive.
